As executive vice president of franchise operations for Carlson Hotels Worldwide¿s Select Service Hotels, Steve Mogck leads franchise operations for Country Inns & Suites By Carlson and Park Inn.  He reports directly to Paul Kirwin, president, Carlson Hotels Worldwide-The Americas.

Mogck serves as the operational leader for franchisee and partner relationships; leads implementation of new programs and services, plus oversees brand systems, processes and standards.

Mogck is also responsible for training, education and development; HSSC and franchise administration.

Most recently, Mogck served as senior vice president of Legal for Carlson Hotels Worldwide where he was responsible for overseeing domestic and international legal issues related to Carlson's hotel brands.  Previous positions within Carlson include associate general counsel for parent company Carlson Companies; and director of Contract Administration for Carlson Hotels. 

Prior to joining Carlson, Mogck was an attorney with Gray Plant Mooty and the former Popham, Haik, Schnobrich & Kaufman law firms in Minneapolis.

Mogck received his J.D. with distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law in Iowa City, Iowa.  He also earned his master of business administration degree with distinction from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois; and his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
